Launch of the acclaimed literary journal’s 9th issue – with readings by winners of the 40 Words Competition and featured poet, Anne McMaster. Complimentary wine and canapés.

BOOK LAUNCH

The Doodledogs – Awesome Bangor Cartoons, By Kate G Smeltzer.

Meet the author and get a signed copy of the book. Some of the artwork will be exhibited in Haus throughout Aug, as well as Yaks, Abbey Street and The Yogurt Tree, Hamilton Road.

SEWING SOCIAL

Bunting making workshop

TUE 18 & 25 JUN TUE 2 & 16 JUL 7pm – 9pm

Make new friends with old fabrics and help us decorate the town for Festival month with beautiful vintage-style bunting. Run by volunteers Ros Nevin and Barbara Heywood, there’ll be tea & biscuits – and plenty of chat.

We need material! Please bring any unwanted fabric to the Festival office, Fountain Centre, Queen’s Parade, 10am – 6pm, Mon – Fri.
