Bubbles & Seating
Lots of things about this year’s festival will be different to the set-up you’ve previously been used to, including how you buy your tickets, and how the seating will be arranged.
To facilitate social distancing, we have created a ticket bubble system. When you go to book, you will be given the option of buying a single seat, or a bubble of 2, 3 or 4 seats. The price you pay will be per bubble. For example, if seats for an event are £20 each, and you buy a bubble of 4, you will pay £80. If you buy a bubble of one at £20, that means you will be purchasing a single ticket and sitting alone.
Please note, the majority of bubbles available are 4s. This is to enable maximum capacity in the garden within the current social distancing regulations. If the regulations change we will adapt accordingly. But for now we are unable to adjust bubble sizes.
We know this isn’t ideal – but it is the best we can do under the circumstances. So we hope you’ll be patient with us, and help us to run the events as smoothly as possible by sticking to your original booking.

Parking & Travel
There is ample free parking at the Walled Garden, and it is just a short walk from Bangor Station and the town centre.
Events that end in time to catch the last train to Belfast will be highlighted as ‘train friendly’. For Translink timetables and ticket prices go to: www.translink.co.uk
We will be doing everything we can to protect our audience members, artists, volunteers and staff from Covid 19. This includes reviewing the situation on a regular basis and responding to updates and new regulations from all relevant authorities. We are already restricting audience numbers to allow for social distancing and may need to put additional safety measures in place at short notice. Please help us by complying with all our safety requests.
Please wear a mask while you are queuing to enter the event, while walking to your seat, and if you leave to visit the café or toilet. Also, when the event ends, please put on your mask to exit the garden.
You do not have to wear a mask during the event when sitting in your bubble.
Testing / vaccinations / symptoms
You are not required to produce a negative Covid19 test result or proof of vaccination to gain access to an event.
However, it is imperative that if you have any symptoms of Covid19, have tested positive for Covid19, or have been in recent contact with anyone who has tested positive, you do not attend the event.
Please note that we will be constantly monitoring and reviewing these guidelines, and will adapt them if we feel it is necessary – or if we are required to do so by law.

How can I buy a ticket?
Tickets can be purchased online through our website by clicking the event you wish to book above.
We will also be taking bookings and answering queries by phone Monday – Friday: 10am – 1pm on 07719 180724

Unfortunately, we do not have a walk-in box office this year, due to Covid.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Once you complete your booking, your ticket will be emailed to you. We would encourage you to show it on a mobile device when you arrive at your event – but you can also print it and bring it with you if necessary.
Are there age restrictions?
Some of the events do have age restrictions and these are clearly listed at the point of sale. Please note, it is inadvisable to bring very young children and babies to any event.
The show I want to attend is sold out, can I be put on a waiting list?
If a show has sold out, you can add your name to the waiting list via the ticketsolve page. You will be asked to indicate the size of your booking bubble. If further seating or cancellations become available, we will contact you.
I can't attend a show, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately we can only offer refunds or exchange tickets in the case of a cancelled event or in exceptional circumstances.
Can I bring food/drink to the event?
You are welcome to bring your own refreshments into the Walled Garden – but please use the litter bins provided or bring your rubbish home with you, and be respectful of the beautiful surroundings and other audience members.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The Walled Garden is wheelchair accessible. Please note, it may be necessary for wheelchair users and their bubble to sit at the back of the garden to allow for ease of access. Please let us know when booking if you are a wheelchair user or require special assistance.
Is there a buddy scheme for disability carers?
We will be operating our Buddy Scheme for disabled customers who require assistance as normal this year – providing one complimentary carer ticket. As with general ticketing, seats will be sold as singles, or in bubbles of 2, 3 or 4. This cannot be expanded.
If you require special assistance, or are eligible for a Buddy ticket, please inform us at the time of booking.
What time can I enter the venue from?
The gates will open half an hour before the show starts. Please do not arrive earlier than the gate time on your ticket. If there is a queue, please maintain social distancing and be respectful of other audience members, volunteers and Open House staff.
If rain is forecast, will the event be cancelled?
The audience area of the Walled Garden will be covered with a stretch tent canopy, so rain should not affect the events. However, as you will still be outdoors it may get chilly, so please dress accordingly.
