With support from Conchúr White
We’re delighted to have Villagers play an intimate, fully-seated show in the beautiful surroundings of First Bangor. This new venue for the Festival, which dates back to the 1830s, is one of the town’s most historic churches with a circular auditorium, wooden balcony and divine acoustics.
The musical project of Dublin singer/songwriter Conor O’Brien, Villagers have been a prolific force in music since being awarded the prestigious Ivor Novello Album Award for Darling Arithmetic. Villagers have made another great leap forward with the recent release of their fourth studio album, The Art Of Pretending To Swim and a collaboration with Paul Weller on his highly acclaimed album True Meanings.
Conchúr White, from Portadown, whose music has been described as inventive yet beautifully understated, will release his debut single this summer.
