With support from The Skallions, The Vibes and Stir It Up!
This will be a very special day in Bangor! To mark the 40th anniversary of their debut album, the 70s ska supremos will headline an outdoor summer show on the towns seafront, overlooking the marina. Join Terry Hall and members of the original line-up for era defining songs like Message To You Rudy, Too Much Too Young, Gangsters and Ghost Town, alongside material from the bands acclaimed 2019 album Encore, which reached No 1 in the UK charts.
The Skallions are an energetic eight-piece ska-reggae band from Belfast, with two lead vocalists and brass section who will perform a full sixty minute set of original material.
The Vibes are a reggae collective with members from Doghouse, Boss Sound Manifesto, Pocket Billiards, NI Soul Troop and Aggressors BC. who play a mix of soulful reggae with an emphasis on the offbeat being upbeat. They take their influences from Northern Soul, Motown, Old-School Ska and Reggae.
