Open House Festival
Open House is an independent music & arts charity that runs an annual summer festival for the month of August in the beautiful seaside town of Bangor, County Down, 15 miles along the coast from Belfast. Open House also promotes music concerts throughout the year in both Belfast and Bangor, plus a vintage festival (Seaside Revival) and a major outdoor artisan food & drink event (Sundown Market).
Brief: Open House Festival is seeking an exceptional freelancer to deliver digital and social media marketing services for our annual summer Festival which takes place in Bangor, County Down, in August 2019, and our new vintage Festival, Seaside Revival, which takes place in July.
Role title: Digital Marketeer
Period of project: late April to end August 2019
Location: you’ll be based in our Festival office on Queens Parade, Bangor seafront, which is open 10am – 6pm Monday to Friday. Hours will vary depending on demands of the job, particularly during the festival periods (Seaside Revival 5 – 7 July and Open House Festival 1 – 31 August). You will have to work evenings and weekends when needed and we’ll expect you to be a fully integrated member of the core Festival Team.
Please submit a short proposal, which includes:
- A concise CV including your relevant experience of working with arts or creative organisations or individual creatives – maximum 2 x A4 pages
- A short pitch outlining how you would approach the project and structure the work over four months – this is also an opportunity to show us your written skills (maximum 1 x A4 page)
- A proposed total fee based on daily rates and the number of days you anticipate spending on the project
- Contact details for minimum two referees – preferably previous employers or clients.
Open House Festival will select the candidate who appears to be most suitable for appointment. Candidates will be selected on a scored basis, with 60% for suitability and 40% for cost.
