Venues & Accessiblity

Here at Open House we’re committed to providing a Festival that’s accessible to all.

Our team works hard to deliver a programme and services that respect the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, and that allows everyone an equal opportunity to be part of the Festival.

If you have a special need, please tell us when booking your tickets or at any time before your arrival. This will help us make your experience much more enjoyable.

Full information about each venue can be found at the bottom of this page.

Buying Tickets

You can book tickets for Open House Festival events online at (please add any special requests in the ‘comments’ section when you book) or by calling our box office on 028 9147 1780, 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. You can also contact us about accessibility issues by emailing

We do everything we can to ensure that venues are fully accessible to people with disabilities, but this is not always possible, as many of the venues we use are pop-up, and not designed as performance spaces. We welcome guide dogs and service animals, other than circumstances prohibited by law, or where venue-specific policies don’t allow them.

Many of our venues can accommodate mobility devices such as wheelchairs or scooters, and we can reserve seating at events that are fully standing or have unreserved seating, including a specially designated disabled seating area at our outdoor events on McKee Clock Arena. We can also offer a free place for a support person under our Buddy Scheme.

For any of these special needs we ask that you book spaces in advance. A small number of venues are not wheelchair accessible and/or don’t have wheelchair accessible toilets. You can find  information about each venue and its accessibility by selecting a venue below. Or check with the box office before you book.
