A late summer of free live music in Ward Park
Pack a picnic and join us in Bangor every Sunday in August & September 3-5pm
Open House Festival is back! A bit different, but with a programme of live events at last. This year’s August Festival is underway in the beautiful Bangor Walled Garden until 31 August. There are still tickets for some amazing gigs including Adam Kay and Celtic Soul. Events are open air, fully seated and Covid-compliant, but weather-protected under a stretch canvas cover.
We have an exciting run of Belfast gigs as well, with Django Django, Courtney Marie Andrews, Yussef Dayes, Pigsx7 & Kelly Lee Owens all happening this year – and more shows already on sale for next year too!
July saw the third year of our Seaside Revival Vintage Festival, we had a great time at the Classic Car Show, Revival Picnic and the Big Swing Dance Class – and the photos suggest you did too! Take a look at what happened here.
Team Open House
MORE THAN JUST A FESTIVAL
Open House is an independent charity in Bangor, County Down, creating unique events that transform people and places
We believe that music, art, culture and festival events are the regenerative force that will transform Bangor from its seafront dereliction and failed retail sector into a modern seaside town.
Drawing on the unique assets of its coastal setting, thriving community of artists and creatives, Victorian architecture, abundance of pop-up venues and proximity to Belfast, we aim to attract more visitors to Bangor and to make local people proud of their town again.
