NO ALIBIS BOOK TENT

Open House FestivalBelfast’s best independent book shop No Alibis is back with their Book Tent and a fantastic literary and live music programme including Colin Bateman, Terry Hooley and Cat Malojian, plus a mouth watering selection of books to browse and buy. Free performances run from 6-7:30pm every weekday evening and from 7-8-pm weekend evenings before the marquee doors open at Custom House Square. The Book Tent also hosts a programme all day Saturday and Sunday at ChilliFest. Full details below.

Monday 6th September

Cat Malojian 6-7:30pm - Cat Malojian
Cat Malojian are singer-songwriter Stevie Scullion with multi-instrumentalist siblings Jonny & Rachel Toman. Their music is melodic & fresh, while hinting at sounds from a bygone era.

Wednesday 8th September

Ruby Colley6-7:30pm - Ruby Colley
Electric violinist Ruby, creates draws influence from Eastern European folk, Jazz and Classical music in her eclectic performances.

Thursday 9th September

Orson Wells 6-7:30pm - John McGurgan, Pawet Bignell
John McGurgan is an understated folk singer-songwriter from Omagh with an ultra laid back, smooth character.

Pawet Bignell AKA Paul performs a well crafted mix of traditional folk and blues. A talent beyond his years.
