White Lies - gig cancelled
Due to an unexpected overrun in studio recording commitments, the White Lies gig is regrettably cancelled. As this is an annual festival we are unable to reschedule the gig for a later date. However we will happily exchange tickets for any Marquee event that still has availability - regardless of the gig price (eg. Seasick Steve at £35, or Modest Mouse at £22.50).
Alternatively, we can offer a full refund. For exchange or refund of tickets please contact the festival box office asap at the Belfast Welcome Centre - info@belfastwelcomecentre.com

White Lies
The young North Ealing guitar trio conquered 2009 with a critically acclaimed debut album, To Lose My Life. Success followed in the form of major tour supports with Kings of Leon, Coldplay and Snow Patrol, and a string of awards including BRITs Critics Choice, and Best New Band at both Q Magazine and the NME awards. Hotter than a habanero – a great start to our 2010 festival.
“Everyone can believe in a band like this. Good old-fashioned indie music, free from pretensions, ill-advised fashion choices and smack-addled fifth form poetry.” Hot Press

Panama Kings
Stuart Bailie, BBC Radio Ulster, describes Belfast buzz-band, the Panama Kings, as ‘a rock combo with Cuban heel boots, untamed hair and guitars that roar”. Every show is a different kind of chaos.

ExLovers
With two releases through Chess Club London, it’s a real treat to have critically acclaimed London band ExLovers opening up the evening with their Belfast debut.
"Boy-girl harmonies, jangly guitars and wistful lyrics”
