THE DELAWARES have risked it all. Six disparate souls united by a common cause: to create music in a colourful tapestry of light and shade. They are inspired by the great renaissance artists of their generation - The Beach Boys, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Neil Young,Don McLean and all those other beautiful raconteurs who have painted so much pain and joy into our lives.
The result is a harmony driven, earthy sound that commands attention. Raucous live shows have become the band's hallmark. Packing out venues in their native Belfast, they have played all over Ireland including an audience of several thousand people at the Odyssey Arena,Belfast last Halloween.
The band's key strength lies in the diversity of the songwriting. They have supported and garnered much attention from the likes of Henry McCullough, Duke Special, The Answer, Bap Kennedy, Jason Ringenberg and The Broken Family Band.
