The Pine Leaf Boys were the resident band at last year’s ChilliFest and rocked the marquee for three full days with their infectious, youthful brand of Cajun and Creole music. All still in their early 20s, and raised in the soggy prairies and bayous of southwest Louisiana, the boys take a hard-rocking approach to the old acoustic instruments. Voted Best Cajun Band of 2006 and 2007 in the American Big Easy Awards, Nominated For a Grammy in 2007, and with both their albums to date topping all the roots charts in the US, the Pine Leaf Boys are hot property at the moment.
