Who Ate All The Tapas? was a landmark flamenco guitar album from Trio Gitano back in 2005 (Gitano is the Spanish for Romany or Gypsy). They have since added double bass, flute, violin, trumpets, percussion, and the fiery flamenco footstamping of Ana Garcia from La Mancha, Spain, to form the TG Collective.
This cool young six piece mix classical Flamenco with new compositions and arrangements by Paco de Lucia, Django Reinhardt, Ennio Morricone and Horace Silver. They move through gypsy jazz, hotclub, classical and film scores with technical skill and passion.
Some of you may recognize two members of the collective who played at Open House last year with their other, very different, project - the Destroyers!

The Hummingbirds
This three piece acapella group features the beautiful vocal harmonies of local chanteuses Brigid O’Neill, Tiona McSherry and Mary Mulrine, all of whom will be familiar to local audiences from their previous incarnations with Cuigear Ban, the Wildflowers, Deanta, Tamalin and Ten Wheels for Jesus. The girls will start the evening with a mixed bag of songs ranging from Irish traditional to American country to contemporary soul.
